The Late Great Tony Hart

Many British people who grew up in the 70s are mourning the loss of Tony Hart. Tony taught us how to make art from macaroni or anything else that happened to be lying around the house. Without his TV show "Take Hart" there would be no Wallace & Grommet as Aardman's, the animation studio that create them got their start on Tony's show with an animated character called Morph.

Keith Armstrong - Conceptual Artist


Here is the latest work from budding West Coast conceptual artist Keith Armstrong. It's entitled "Core Hole Proposal 007". The artist has cleverly included his own sneakers in the composition which I think provides a savage indictment of the consumerism inherent in western society. I believe that we're destined to see more of Keith's shoes as his work becomes increasingly sought after. What do you think?
